With too few opportunities to stand up and stretch out or to be physical added to a life history of occasional injuries, stress, poor sleep and abdominal weight gain and its no wonder your body does not feel as good as it once did. All of these factors have a toxic effect on posture that is cumulative. Neck, shoulder, back, sciatic and knee pain are often the result. Your posture may have even deteriorated to the point that you are stiff when standing up and even gentle stretching can cause you discomfort.
